This is a family‑owned boutique hotel with friendly staff and a decent breakfast. You can tell they are trying hard to preserve the history of the old building and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. However, I wouldn’t recommend the room I booked, “The Spa.” Although booking website shows all rooms as same in size, this one felt much smaller and is located outside the main building, giving it a more temporary feel. The room is narrow, and the interior shows some wear with a very home‑style design. It also looked quite different from the photos on the booking website. We had a truly lovely time at bettys boutique in mossel bay! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and did everything possible to make us feel at home. The hotel itself has a theme that they stick to but makes the place feel colourful and unique. The place was very clean and the breakfast was very nice with a good few choices. We also enjoyed a cheese board and wine that the hotel provided which was well put together. We had the royal suite room which was very big and comfortable. The price for 3 nights was far better than anything we saw in the area and we would stay again. Only one small improvement I would recommend is in the bathroom there was a small bit of mould and mildew on the ceiling. But other than that it was excellent!

This is probably our favourite in the entire Mosselbay. The setting is picturesque, the food is top quality and the hosts are incredible. We had our wedding here and it was so beautiful, intimate and just perfect. All the staff went out of their way to accompany us and they were just the best we could ever have asked for.
