The Premises

Betty’s Boutique Hotel is situated in Mossel Bay on the Garden Route in the Western Cape in South Africa.

The Stoep

The large stoep is one of our most used spaces as you will eat breakfast there, later relax with a glass of wine, curl up on Bettys sofa and read a book or just be…the views out to sea and the mountains beyond are truly amazing.

The Pool & Braai Area

Another place to relax is by our large swimming pool, which is situated away from the bedrooms offering more privacy. Sunbathe on our loungers, sip a glass of South African wine or bubbles and take a dip when the fancy takes you.It also features our South African Braai area where you can join us for a evening of South African grilled meats, salads and breads, corn on the cob and more, all washed down with local wines.

The Kings & Queens Honesty Bar

Inside Bettys Boutique Hotel we have a beautiful large bar lounge furnished sympathetically with the era with comfortable armchairs and a chaise and lit with soft light from lamps. Sally the Rocking horse also resides here . It has a large TV with full DSTV channels, there are sports channels galore to watch for the sports mad. This lounge also has our precious pool table brought from England for you to play on, it’s the table where Dave’s dad Don beat his son when he was 90 , sadly a week later he passed away but he died a happy man as he was finally the champion again !

The Garden

Betty’s has the most amazing relaxing gardens full of indigenous plants, flowers and trees, where you can delight in taking a walk around them, admire the views across Mossel Bay to the mountains and feed our family of goldfish. Relax and sit on our quiet bench, at the bottom of the garden, a tribute to Betty’s husband Don and watch the sun go down…truly a place of calmness. Children can enjoy our small play area at the bottom of our gardens, complete with tree house & slide, a grassed area with sandpit, seesaw, swing and small cars & bikes & toys. South African grilled meats, salads and breads, corn on the cob and more, all washed down with local wines.
